This service, has been held for many years during the lead up to Christmas Day at St John's (and in many Anglican Churches across the UK, Europe and North America)
The singing of the well known Christmas Hymns and hearing the Christmas story again can remind many of us of times past.
In the past few years, St John's has added a European twist to this wonderful event. The Christmas story is read by various people in English, French, German, Spanish, the Scot's Dialect, and new this year, Swedish. We call it "Many Voices, One Gospel".
As always the evening is wrapped up with a time of friendship and fellowship accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies.
There is some parking around the church, but the Saint-Raphael rail station is just across the railway tracks over the bridge from the church and always has lots of parking (paid). There is no admission fee, but a free will offering will be collected.
