Welcome to the British Association of the Var 

The British Association of the Var provides a useful and lively part of the English-speaking community throughout the Var.

It has a focus on members’ Welfare and is a source for confidential assistance in matters relating to health as well as more general issues concerning living in France.

Events such as lunches, guided tours, cultural visits and other activities are held throughout the year. These are open to all members and their guests. There are also more local groups,

‘Neighbourhood Networks’ who arrange regular coffee mornings and other events where members can meet others from their own area.  

Membership is open to all nationalities, currently over a dozen different ones are represented, though English is the common language.
